[Billy's decided on one thing: November isn't his favourite month.]
... Is it just me, or is it pretty easy to lose track of time here? I mean, without school or anything, you don't really need to know which day it is or anything. Heck, you don't even really need to remember the year. That was a major part of each passing year for me—moving onto the next grade.
But there's nothing like that here. Sure, we've got holidays and that kind of thing, but the days tend to go by until you stop and realize what the date is. Kind of like waking up and it hitting you that your birthday was over a week ago, or something. [Shhhhhh, that is purely hypothetical.]
Unless that's just me and a side-effect of being here for way too long.
[A pause, before the energy in his voice rises, albeit not in quite a genuine way.]
Though I'd certainly hope that it isn't just me! [...] Anyway, I've got one more thing to say:
If anyone comes across this stupid, annoying thief by the name of Matthew, tell him I'm looking for him.
[Juuuuuuust in the case he misses this—]
